Gibraltar to Gran Canaria and then on to Trinidad....
19 December 97 - depart Gibraltar, 25th December- arrive Puerto de Mogán, Gran Canaria.
30 December 97 - depart Gran Canaria, 16 January 98 - arrive Trinidad.
Avalon is a Swan 51. When you are given the opportunity to make a transatlantic crossing in a Swan you don't give it up! A well found boat and a comfortable crossing.

Provisioning for the voyage, we load tons of food and water before departure. Stowing the stores is a major task - and finding them later in the voyage is just as interesting!
